What is "Marketing: A Plan for your Operation?"
It is a program that will:
1. Identify available market tools;
2. Explain how these tools are used;
3. Show you where to find these tools;
4. Demonstrate how to apply these tools to your own farm operation.
When will this program take place?
Notice of eligibility was sent in September 2002. To participate, you must complete and return the sign-up card. The program will run through May 2003.
Who is eligible to participate?
All young farmers in Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Wisconsin.
How is the program delivered?
The program is delivered through three methods:
1. Website: Program content will be available at www.marketprogram.com.
2. Support: A senior market advisor will be available for each state.
3. Workshops: Workshops will be scheduled at various locations -- dates will be announced later.
